Early Summer Pastoral

You have to get up mighty early to beat the sun this time of year in Oregon. I enjoyed watching daylight happen in a hay field down the road from my house.

3:50 AM barely daylight in Eagle Valley

4:15 AM still no sun in the valley

4:30 Mr Sun

Almost 5 and golden light and long shadows

The Longest Day 4:02 AM on June 21 still dark in the valley as clouds over the ridge line began to glow
