Louisiana

The isolation of COVID has been a good time to work on processing skills. I have spent a few months doing Sean Bagshaw photoshop tutorials for a couple of hours a day. The more I learn the more I realize what I don't know. These photos came from practicing various methods. I also used a Tony Kuyper web sharpening tool to export these to behance for the first time. I welcome any comments about that.

I've been entertaining myself with muting/selecting color in images as photoshop practice with various methods. I love living in the Pacific Northwest but miss the south (not much except friends) once in a while.These photos were from 2015 and 2016. Some bad versions of these may have been in early behance works.

Lake Martin

There is no reflecting pool at the Louisiana capital. I found a photo that my daughter captured where a small pool in front of a building near the capital had part of the reflection of the building. It was a fun photoshop project.

Rosedown Plantation

Cypress swamps are so beautiful from the safety of an elevated boardwalk

I couldn't do a Louisiana series without a few waterfowl photos

Glossy ibis and a little blue or tricolored heron, I'm not sure

I was so happy to see great blue herons in Oregon.
