The next ten photos were taken on the pintail loop wildlife trail in Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Reserve. It is a 3 mile loop through the marsh with no getting out of the car. The fellows below enforce that rule.

After literally being blown off of the map in the 1950s Cameron was back up to more than 2000 residents in the 2000 census. After the hurricanes of 2005 and 2008 the 2010 census said 406 folks still live here.
