Serviceberry trees or shrubs are quite abundant and glow with soft light.
I tried to compose this glowing green hill without the dam and decided I would take it out with photoshop. As I processed it I liked the dam more and more.so I left it in the photo.
Every time I look at this image I want to click the log and it's reflection because it looks like a video play button to me.
I take a few photos of this nest every time we go over to the canyon. She or he always has a few sticks and pine needles obstructing the view. I finally invested a couple of hours of work to remove them all.
Early June of 2015 at Hat Point. The seven Devils in the background and David Martin's light sabres in the foreground. This is my favorite place in Hell's Canyon but the road is snowed in until June usually.
