The first five photos are all the same bloom over seven days
Day one, no yellow band yet
Day two, just as the sun rose above the rim of the valley
It was late in the day with a 20 mph wind but the backlight looked good. I had to raise the ISO a bunch and shoot at 2.8 to catch this dancing bloom. I didn't expect much but it produced an interesting result.
