A few photos of our personal experiences in the great flood of 2016. This is to thank all of my great Behance friends who have reached out to us. It was so uplifting to get messages from some of you when phones and power came back. We choose not to be rescued and rode it out at home. No great coffee in rescue shelters:-)) We had some water in the house and a lot of damage but are doing great. I am now able to get out and see the extent of the damage and realize even more that we are lucky to have repairable damage. I would like to get out and shoot more of the widespread damage but no one needs a photographer in the way right now.

I waded out for one last photo before I stored my good cameras on high ground. I was considering if I could get my alcohol stove and coffee press up in the tree if we had to move to there
